Dear I-Corps Teams,

The New England I-Corps node has created a 20 minute video that covers how to use LinkedIn as a power user for I-Corps Customer Discovery and includes additional tips for how to find interviewees.

Tips on Using LinkedIn for Customer Discovery video:  https://youtu.be/dt1uMf0HAec

After watching the video you may also request a 1on1 office hour session with Katy Miller (an instructor from the New England I-Corps Node) for hands-on guidance on using LinkedIn for your specific customer segments.  The video and the 1on1 sessions are completely optional.

Katy can be contacted via email: katym@mit.edu

IMPORTANT:  The video describes using the Premium LinkedIn Sales Navigator subscription.  This is an $80 per month subscription. The NSF has allowed this to be used under the following caveats:

1. There can only be one Premium LinkedIn subscription per Team that is covered by your award.  It would typically be in the name of the EL.

2. You should first sign-up for the initial 30 day free trial option.  Then convert it to a paid subscription if you intend to continue using the Sales Navigator functions productively.

3. You may subscribe ONLY on a month-to-month basis - DO NOT take the annual subscription.

4. You will be reimbursed for 3 months of the paid subscription.  At the end of 3 months you must cancel the premium version and revert to a regular LinkedIn membership.  You will not be reimbursed for more than 3 months.

Best,
Lisa Naquin
